Biographical Information
Yohei is pursuing a Joint MBA/MS in Environment and Resources at Stanford University. He received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tokyo, where he passed the Bar Examination in Japan while he was an undergraduate student.
Research Interests
Yohei is passionate about clean technology entrepreneurship.
Professional Activities
Yohei worked for EnerG2 for his summer internship, and is the CFO of the Environmentally Sustainable Business Club and Berkeley-Stanford Cleantech Conference. Prior to Stanford, Yohei was an attorney at Uchida & Samejima Law Firm, where he practiced business law in the combined area of finance, M&A, and intellectual property. Prior to joining Uchida & Samejima Law Firm, Yohei was an attorney at Nishimura & Asahi, where he worked on private equity finance, LBO finance, intellectual property finance, and real estate finance. As an attorney, he worked on various large finance transactions in Japan and volunteered to defend the socially vulnerable as a court-appointed lawyer.
With some of the best professional musicians in Japan, Yohei also co-founded a non-profit organization focusing on educating children with orchestral music performances.
