Biographical Information
Mike Dorsey is an entrepreneur, co-founder and director of ContractorMarketingPros.com, and a partner & advisor of several startups including Tuggl.com and NetSavings.us.
Currently an MBA student at Stanford GSB, Dorsey focuses on building consumer internet startups and looking for innovations in online monetization.
Previously, Dorsey earned an M.A. in Middle East Studies at the American University in Cairo, and a dual B.A. in Business Administration and International Studies at Austin College.
Dorsey speaks fluent Spanish, as well as intermediate French and Arabic. He has had two articles published from his research in international economics and development, and he is an avid blogger, audiobook listener, and social media enthusiast. Dorsey is passionate about launch operations, frisbee, his wife, monkeys, smoothies, and infecting others with his entrepreneurial ferver.
Dorsey is looking for opportunities to use his skills to build a company in either energy efficiency, energy production, or transportation.

Professional Activities
Dorsey co-founded and served as company president of ContractorMarketingPros.com, where he led overall strategy, software design, web analytics, SEO strategy, and ad performance analysis for this pay-for‐performance advertising network.
While at Stanford, Mike has interned with several companies: Seattle-based Venture Capital firm, Maveron, where he authored an investment thesis on web enabled consumer services, Infosys Technologies in Bangalore where he identified industry-specific enterprise software needs, and PeerVenturePartners in Menlo Park, CA where he sourced investment opportunities, interviewed company founders, and conducted due diligence on these web investments.
He also worked as an internal consultant on an interdepartmental task force at Southwest Airlines, focusing on Business Intelligence and optimizing airport operations in light of post Sept 11 security initiatives, where he authored that summer's national implementation plan and he holds a patent relating to airport security processes.
